Many gathered for Outrun at Milk. The White Stripes Holga was also in attendance, but this time, with black and white film. Unfortunately, I only had ISO 100, and the tiny flash had a hard time keeping up. But we make due with what we have, and I got some decent shots. The Lomography Earl Grey film seems to be a little soft for ISO 100, but the dreamy look still suits. Soft focus here.
Dance Yourself Clean
Dance Yourself Clean came to Denver and spun party hits at Larimer Lounge. This time, I had a White Stripes “Jack” Edition Lomography Holga (info) around my neck. It came with some expired Fujicolor 400 film. I wasn’t sure the shots would come out, because I don’t want to light-seal it (tape would ruin the look). However, I was lucky and the shots came out pretty well. The Fuji red-rich photos are here.
My Karaoke Birthday
For the 2nd year in a row, I was able to rent out Armida’s Karaoke upstairs for a karaoke party. Tunes were belted, drinks were had, photos were taken…here.
Weird Touch
I met some friends for Weird Touch at Syntax Physic Opera. With the trusty Leica R3, I captured a few moments.
Denver Women’s March
My family and I attended the Denver Women’s March on 1/21/2017. Estimates put attendance at 200,000 or more! It was very encouraging to see people marching for women’s rights here, and all over the world. It was a powerful message. Photos HERE.
