Little Dark Age – Neoclassical

I saw a clip of this video on Discord, then on Reddit. I couldn’t find a full version so I whipped one up quickly. I uploaded to Youtube, but they struck it down with great vengeance and furious anger.

It’s a remix of Rino Stefano Tagliafierro’s “BEAUTY” with MGMT – Little Dark Age.

HARK

HAAAAAAAAAAAARK!

Hark Triton, hark! Bellow, bid our father the Sea King rise from the depths full foul in his fury! Black waves teeming with salt foam to smother this young mouth with pungent slime, to choke ye, engorging your organs til’ ye turn blue and bloated with bilge and brine and can scream no more. Only when he, crowned in cockle shells with slitherin’ tentacle tail and steaming beard take up his fell be-finned arm, his coral-tined trident screeches banshee-like in the tempest and plunges right through yer gullet, bursting ye! A bulging bladder no more, but a blasted bloody film now and nothing for the harpies and the souls of dead sailors to peck and claw and feed upon only to be lapped up and swallowed by the infinite waters of the Dread Emperor himself. Forgotten to any man, to any time, forgotten to any god or devil, forgotten even to the sea, for any stuff for part of Winslow, even any scantling of your soul is Winslow no more, but is now itself the sea!

Cuba

My wife and I got to spend some time in Habana, Cuba (Havana in America). What a great place! The people were warm, food was great, and sights were beautiful. They were getting ready for the city’s 500 year anniversary; lots of construction going on. I was able to take a 1987 Canon EOS 620 with Kodak Portra 400 film. I like the unique look it gives the photos. Gallery HERE.

Outrun at Milk

Many gathered for Outrun at Milk.  The White Stripes Holga was also in attendance, but this time, with black and white film.  Unfortunately, I only had ISO 100, and the tiny flash had a hard time keeping up.  But we make due with what we have, and I got some decent shots.  The Lomography Earl Grey film seems to be a little soft for ISO 100, but the dreamy look still suits.  Soft focus here.
